Dude, if you buy a dell don't count on their customer service, they don't give a hoot and plus their customer service sucks now. I wouldn't recommend getting the warranty.

I got everything handled through email.

I didn't even have to bother calling and waiting on the phone.

send em an email with the problem, they'll do what's necessarhy to get it resolved.

I went back-and-forth with them via e-mail on a couple issues for about 2 months with ZERO luck. Another 2 months over the phone. Then I gave up.

Lack of response. No accountability. Blatant lying. They had it all.

I have also had good luck with the Customer Service forum, they have taken care of me in a couple of instances. Sorry to hear about your problems, you should also write a letter to Mr. Dell himself or try planetfeedback
