Dell Hardware Replacement Problem
The Kev Master has a Dell 700m. The problem he is facing is that he got an 80GB 4200rpm when he was supposed to be an 80GB 5400rpm. He has gone on Dell chat and been shoved back and forth between tech support and customer care. Also, the reason he's trying to get it fixed is because they are going to replace the hard drive as it is bad, so he wants to have the right drive replaced. They are only going to replace it wih the same 4200rpm hdd not the 5400rpm it was suposed to have with initially.
He wants to get advice from ATechers on how to resolve this and who in the right position at Dell can and will fix this small technicality.
He appreciates all the help he can get from ATechers.
