axom x5, I found some ram, (sandisk 256mb compactFlash card) is that what I need, and what does that do?

Yeah, you can use the Compact Flash card, it'll be for storage for data, games, pics, *.txt files, etc.

The CF card will give you extra storage for whatever you wish (media files, program files, etc.). For instance, I consider the CF card for my Axim as "removable storage", so I put MP3's and movies (you can encode almost 2.5 hours of Divx on a 256MB card!) on the CF, and I install programs to the SD card and always leave it there.

I'm currently using the Secure Digital for my storage of stuff and left my CF alone, in case I decide to use Wi-Fi or something for it.
