The link you posted does not go directly to Dell's website. You're clicking a link on the SD site that goes through a third party who pays Slick Deals for the click. My ad blocker blocks it.

I searched the Dell website and didn't find this deal. There were a lot of comments on similar machines with the typical remarks like "this is a killer deal given the current state of the market" to "the power supply doesn't have enough output" to "quit complaining, if you drill some holles in it and replace the cooling fans and re-install Windows it works great". YMMV.

That doesn't beat my Dell 8940 with 512GB NVme, 8GB of ram 10400 i5 and 1660 super for $649. I watched the video above. This guy is full of shit. Didn't he have funny ideas of how to mount a AIO cooler? I upgraded the cooler to a 120mm cooler. Took out the 1660 Super and put it in my Ryzen rig. It benchmarks very good. +5C because it's a small form factor 1660 Super. Updated the bios, did a clean install of Windows 10 and gave it away.

I bought a Dell Optiplex 790 3 or 4 years ago with an i5 2400 on Ebay. $73. The thing boots up every time. I added some memory and installed windows 10. All original parts from 2011. It's my garage PC with integrated graphics. I used to use Thinkpads as my garage PC before that.

i had the previous model G5 than this one. it had the higher wattage power supply. I liked it alot. only reason i got rid of it is i went with a newer ryzen. I think the system isnt meant as an upgradeable gamer, but as a gamer out of the box and thats it.

The 1650 is 20% worse performance than a 970. The 1660 super is 40-45% faster than a 970.

You have to read the entire thread. Someone put in the youtube link for the G5 & 1660 super. I was pointing out that I got an 8940 with the 1660 super and 512GB NVMe drive for $650. I was saying that the 1650 is not a good card for 2021. The OP posted a $579 deal with a 1650.
