I was under the impression LCDs don't get burn marks!!

I leave the monitor on all the time

Is there anything I can do?
There is a big white mark coming down the LCD

That is not a burn mark. Hopefully your laptop is still under waranty.

I'm guessing this thread will eventually be read by a mod. So I'm reserving my comments to "Ummmmm..."

It's not a burn mark, you just need to get your LCD replaced. Dell should come out to your hosue and replace it for you (I just had a video card on my e1705 go bad and they did this prompty).
