Dell DVD Software

I recently had to reinstall windows on a Dell Inspiron 700m.
I had ordered the Windows reinstallation CD and drivers from dell already, but now I can't seem to find the DVD playback application on any of the disks.

Any idea where I can get a copy, or do I get stuck buying another copy from them?

if you are still within warranty then just call them and ask for the cd.

Hm, yes, well, it's out of warranty. I suppose I shall try to call.

Now a-days Dell makes you request the CD for the DVD software when you order the notebook. I find it unlikely they automatically included it even back in the day of the 700m. Instead of bothering with them, I'd just go buy PowerDVD for $6 shipped:
