Yes, hot deal. Dell strikes again. Thanks to all these hot deals I have no money to buy anything. I would add the 80GB SATA for $20 and you can always buy a cd burner on the cheap from Newegg or from a rebate deal at one of the office chains.

That's actually a P4 520, not a 550.

Not a bad deal, but if you're not in a hurry, their end-of-quarter deals usually blow these out of the water.

Last end-of-quarter, it was the same price, and the same LCD, same $100 rebate, but the computer was a Dimension 8400 w/ P4 630 3.0GHz, 512MB DDR2, 80GB, CDRW, ATI X300SE.

Think about it terms of 12 months divided by 4 quarters. The end of every three months...and it is the 6th...might be sometime soon.
