Hello!
Been lurking around this forum, but decided to register at last. My first post!
Does anyone know if this is a WD HD? Will this drive work with 74GB Raptor in RAID 0?

Just a little FYI, there is NO warranty for dell raptors. You can find these on forum for $130-$140 shipped with 5 yr warranty. Thought id mention that.

Yeah, if its not retail package from dell, there's NO manufacture warranty for any OEM dell hdds. You have to rely on dell's warranty, and they could be 30 days if they choose.

To OP: You should edit your title and put in Raptor :) After all its the fastest non scsi hard drive in existance.

Seems like a good deal but not having any warranty is really keeping me from pushing the button. Anyone have to RMA theirs? Just trying to figure out how many people actually had to RAM one of these for dependability concerns

I dont know why you would. Look for one on ebay or here on forums. You can find one for identical price with 5 year warranty. And, you couldnt RMA through WD. You have to go through dell, and I believe DELL requires you have proof of purchasing a system of theirs, or it doesnt have any warranty whatsoever.
