I'm looking at the Latitude series and seeing that it has a 100MIr and a 10% off, it's a pretty good deal. All I want to know is whether should I bother with Dell's complete care whcih covers accidental damage and what not??

I got complete care for my 600m. I doubt that I will need it, but the peace of mind is great.
There is someone on the dell forums that is stating that dell completely replaced his notebook after some children he is related to accidentally pitched his laptop off a balcony, smashing the laptop to bits.
I like to drink while I play games, and have accidentally spilled beverage on my keyboard before (on a desktop). On a desktop this results in a 5-20 dollar purchase, in a laptop this could result in needing a new computer due to the motherboard residing underneath the keyboard.
*edit* Dell won't replace what they consider 'industry standard' problems with LCDs (ie less than x amount of dead/stuck pixels). However since you have a 30 day money back return policy and most dead pixels are apparent from day 1, this shouldn't be a huge problem. Complete care may also not cover 'normal wear and tear', which may mean light scratches on the LCD.
