Dell CC question

Ok so we ordered the laptop on the 24th, cancelled on the 25th. It's now the 28th, three days has passed since we cancelled. Does anyone know how much longer we're going to have to wait until we see the credit back into my girlfriend's account?

We plan to pick up a digital camera now but we can't since the funds did not clear back into the account.

Normally how long does it take to get credited back? One week?

Update:

Ok it's been two whole weeks now and nothing has been credited back into her account. We keep checking through Dell's online web status of how much credit she has and how much is available. It has said the same thing for the past two weeks.

I know for a fact the laptop we ordered is cancelled. We did not receive it, when we click on the status, it says canceled.

Can't you check the credit card activity online through the issuing bank?

the temp authorization removal time is completely dependent on the bank, not the merchant

I've had credit returns from Dell show up anywhere from a week to a month. It will eventually show up, just may take a little longer than expected.
