DELL HAS lied to all its Western Digital Drive customers and is now not going to ship the remaining drives with only the 100 dollar rebate at hand. This is the last straw Fsck DELL.

The deal was for a 200GB hard drive and being able to use TWO $100 rebates on it. Obviously that was someone's mistake someplace that such would occur. I don't blame Dell at all for pulling the deal. Sometimes companies will honor such deals, sometimes they don't. But to whine about it like you are.... geeeeeezzzz

So Dell made a mistake. I can't believe the reactions people give here. You're really up in arms because the deal of the century turned out to be a mistake? Did you really think you were going to get a hard drive at ten cents on the dollar?

I mean, yeah, it would have been nice to get it, but "burn in hell" comments over this? Get a grip on reality!

i mean come on!! they are automatically cancelling orders if they haven't heard from you in 3 business days... thats some good CS if you ask me. Plus they are honoring BOTH $100 MIRs for those that had already shipped by a certian date!

I really don't see what you have to complain about at all. they messed up, are paying for it by giving both MIRs to some people, you weren't one of the "lucky ones" so they are willing to cancel your order so you don't lose any money, yet you still bitch about it?

hmmm, i didn't know they were honoring them. i have a wd 200 gb on my desk RIGHT now from Dell with UPC and everything and a print out of BOTH rebates. should i submit both?
