Come to Daddy! Just plunked down the big bucks for a Latitude X1 with a 60Gb disk as the add-on and a leather case. Only thing I didn't add was the memory since Newegg has it for much less.

Woo-Hoo!!!

Yes it is as Latitude's are rarely discounted.

The Dell Latitude D610 is an awesome laptop!

i have my eye on that superportable X1 ;)

I've been temped to get an X1 for a while now. I've been strong have managed to not buy one. I caught what was probably a price mistake for a little while on the outlet a while ago and didn't pull the trigger. Now I just have to turn my computer off that day to keep me from buying it.

Hmm.. I try entering the coupons and the system is DEFINITELY above $1500, but I can't use the coupon posted on gottadeal because the "offer can't be combined with other discounts or coupons"

Any way I can remove the $250 discount?

Does anyone know if shipping can be free? It doesn't say it in the basket. Is that for Dell Home only?

You have to use the coupon on select models. You cant use them on any laptop =(.

So there is no way to remove the $250 discount so the $750 can be used?
edit: when it gets to $1799 (for the D610) it automatically removes the otehr coupon.

Latitudes are nice, but most of them are technically identical to some Inspiron models. (e.g. the D810 is the same as an Inspiron 6000). Latitudes are "packaged" for business customers' requirements, usually with longer warranty, XPpro and other functional upgrades. They are however usually quite a bit more $$$ than a comparable Inspiron.
