it doesn't help either that their website is craping out on them when they need it the most. all these Dell Deals are killing their web services. i can't even view a simple product spec page the past 2 hours. 🙁

I'll wait for a cheaper sub-$350 VGA screen model (416MHz is fine)... or for PPC2005 with true native 640x480 support.

What's the difference between "true native" 640x480 support and how it is now?

PPC2003 doesnt natively support 640x480. You need to get a 3rd party app to take advantage of the better screen

Doesn't PPC2003 SE support VGA? I think I read that somewhere on Aximsite...

No. They even say in the reviews that you need a 3rd party App.

Well saying that we need a 3rd party app doesn't answer the question. I already acknowledge that it doesn't natively support it.

So what's bad about the 3rd party app?
