I'm thinking about buying one... anyone have any experienec with these?

looking for something that's not a total brick, but has a +15" screen. money is a factor, so apples and ibms are out.
 
Its a good machine. If you can live with its physical length, it ll be fine. The screen is beautiful and the build quality is better than a lot of other Dell laptops.
 
Appears to be solidly built and form factor is nice, though support has been abysmal. There was an issue with my order so instead of calling me to resolve it they cancelled it (took over 3 hours on the phone to get it "fixed", and they still missed 2 parts), had an otherwise reseller that I know order the 2 missing parts, and have yet to receive them (after 3 weeks), for a extra battery and Bluetooth adapter. Overall I am still happy with the machine; I just hope that if I need real support (i.e. replacement parts) they do a better job then with ordering.
