I just got a 700m from Dell, and I've taken some of the standard Dell add-ins off. I am having trouble with this beep. Any time I adjust the volume (ONLY the master volume), the computer beeps. This beep isn't from the speakers, I don't think. It's kind of like the BIOS beep. It's always the same noise level and it even beeps with headphones plugged in. When I click and hold on the sound tab it doesn't beep, only when I let it go. I'm not sure what the problem is, but hopefully someone else has had and solved this issue. It's really making me crazy. Anyone got any ideas?
Everything is up to date and all drivers are accounted for. I've dealt with a lot of stupid issues, but this one won't go away. Maybe I'm missing something? Thanks.
