Dell 400SC w/ P4 2.4c back again for $274 AR + Tax

Got mine this Monday hadn't send in my rebate yet. This baby is quiet I can barely hear it since my other computer is so noisy.

This is the stuff I put into the computer and it runs great:

1G Kingston Dual Channel Kit
TDK DVD +/- drive
Lite-on 48x CDRW
1 WD 80 G HD
1 WD 40 HD (the one come with the system)
Radeon 8500
 
Drat ... the in-laws, historically non-computer people, announce tonight that they want a computer - unfortunately, deal dead!
 
Dell deals historically (hysterically ?) are the best at the end of the month.
That's how I got my duallie for $395 a few years ago 🙂
 
If you are just looking for an inexpensive Dell, this deal @ $274 did not include an OS ... another deal is good until Sunday, includes a copy of XP Home.

Granted, comparing the hardware is apples and oranges, but if you are looking for a Dell with a legitimate copy of XP (Home) the deal at $349 is pretty good.
