Is the finish on the new Dell 3008 screen matte or glossy? I'm going to order some to replace my 3007's and if they are not matte that will be a HUGE disappointment!
 
How about asking Dell. There may be 2 differnt models of that laptop. One for a matte and one for a gloss finish.
 
Laptop? You gotta be kidding! A 30-inch laptop could not even be carried aboard a plane. 🙂

Anyway, all the YouTube reviews of this beast suggest a matte screen with a special anti-reflective coating just like its Gateway counterpart.
 
My 2408 is matte, and I've heard everything "in that line" are all the same... if that helps any.

Be warned though - I read through countless threads of issues with the 2408WFP (mine doesn't have any, yay!), and heard the 3008WFP was even worse. If you haven't already, do some additional research to make sure you'll be happy in the end.
