Dell is coming out in one week with the update to their current "NON-HC" 3007 30" LCD monitor, called the 3007WFP-HC, which is quite similar to the same priced HP LP3065.
the HP has 3 dvi inputs, the new Dell HC model has 1 dvi. on the other hand, the new Dell is a "newer" model so it may well have more enhancements like the WIDE W-CCFL backlighting which is supposed to be superior. It is unclear if the HP 30" has the same W-CCFL backlighting. the W-CCFL in the Dell HC model is superior to the Dell current 3007 NON-HC model.
The prices of the HP is the same as the new upcoming Dell HC both at $1,699. (for comparison, the current Dell non-HC is at $1,275).
Tough question?
HP?s review that came out BEFORE the dell?s HC model came out (comparison of HP vs the current non-HC Dell 30?):

what do y'all think?
I would like to choose between the Dell 30? HC versus the HP: they use the same panel, but the HP has 3 dvi inputs, but the Dell is newer, so it ?may? have additional enhancements.
btw, my current configuration is a 24" dell 16:10 (center, black bezel); and a 21.3" Samsung 4:3 (right side, silver bezel). Would using the 30" new Dell as center, the 24" 16:10 Dell to the right, and the 21.3" Samsung 4:3 to the left make the desk "ramshackle" looking? 2 black bezels and 1 silver, plus all different sizes and dimensions and pixels! i'm just thinking that since selling the 21.3" won't be worth too much and i'm surely keeping the 24" Dell (2405FPW, the earlier 24" Dell LCD).
Thx so much in advance!
