whats his return policy? I am somtimes leery of these type of deals. We used to have people doing stuff like this in our for sale forum here but they put a stop to it a few years ago because of problems with a few bad apples. I think its still forbidden.
 
the monitor itself is great, I've had one for months and I love it. I got mine for about 650 new from dell so saving a hundred bucks would be worth it to me. hehe
 
I was hesitant but I got it from him, plus there is a 3 yr warranty ..
Other people did also and there VERY happy as well as I am..

Don't get me wrong its a VERY nice deal. I may even go in on the next one myself since it seems like the guy is on the up and up and he has exactly what I need 🙂

I also noticed he lowered his price 2 times. Hope it stays at $545 if he gets a new shipment lol

 
Well, if the person has the warranty + receipt, he can transfer ownership to you, that way you get the warranty coverage. But that is a lot of problem in itself, and that guy seems like he's selling too many units to do that for everyone.
 
From what I understand, some of these large online/ebay resellers are able to transfer ownership seamlessly and in the case of the large ebay resellers, the purchase is essentially a direct purchase from Dell. You definitely get the warranty, in any case, you might need to transfer ownership though dependent on the reseller.
