Picked one up today with an additional 5% off (company discount) Under $1000 before taxes.

Other deals on right now.

$259 off 2405
$149 off 2005
$64 off 1704

Keeping in mind this is Canadian funds I think it can be considered a rather decent deal.

Why won't this cold repost just end???

I know, right? I wish people would just stop posting in this thread and let it die.

Um, I wasn't saying that people shouldn't reply to this thread and let it die - I was talking about the fact that it seems like everyday there is a post for the 2405 being $897 which isn't even hot in the first place!

plus, ive had the monitor for 5 months and i must say video playback is less than expected. what good is a 24" with all the inputs if there is weirdness when some interlaced signals or fast action going side to side happens. also, the screen is 16:10, not 16:9. i got it with a 9100 for $1200 and i must say that i may have not paid more than $500 for the monitor alone. Id wait a little longer or search for another monitor or a cheap lcd tv with HDMI. ITs a good monitor, but if you watch 4+ hours of video a day like I do, you'll get pretty frustrated at its performance.
