Obviously most people would like 2405fpw but my question is whether or not the price would dramatically decrease in the next year? aka go from sale price of roughly $750 down to a much more reasonable $500-$550 🙂? Any input? Im hoping it does decrease by that much but is that being optimistic??

even if it does drop that much in price if you game your gonna need a killer vid card to run games on it at max settings. i grabbed one not thinking of this and now im payen for it. i guess its an excuse to upgrade.....except i have to get a new mobo+psu+vid card to upgrade :disgust: owell. just something to keep in mind

I'd rather pay the $200 extra than have to wait a year. Quite simply, my 2405 is the best money I've spent on my PC. Hell, I bought it back when it was $959, and it was still worth it. Hell, even if I paid the full $1200, it would have been worth it.

I love my 2405FPW. 😀

I doubt it would _dramatically_ decrease. The LCDs that are most likely to see a major bump downwards are > 30 inches (growing consumer demand because of HDTV), and the 20-21 inch range (logical extension from the 19 inch ones we saw get dirt cheap this year). The 2405FPW is a slick LCD, but it occupies a somewhat awkward position between the average computer monitor and the average HDTV.
