Figures as I just ordered the 2005FPW. Any Ideas On Pricing. I guess I already have my answer on using more than one input on the 2005

:Q
Wouldn't you need dual 6800 Ultra's to play games on that thing?
Native resolution anyway.

Heck, buy 2 2005FPWs for that price and enjoy 40" of space instead of 24....but other than that, it's awesome...any word on if they changed PiP so that it can display dvi and vga at the same time?

According the the press release, the PiP is the same as the 2001FP and 2005FPW... one VGA/DVI input and one video input, which is unfortunate.

However, I'd love to trade in my 2001FP for one of these, just for the ability to watch full 1080i/p HDTV.

I guess I don't understand how the inputs work, if I have a 2005 and want to connect both a DVI Mac and a VGA PC, am I out of luck without a switch and just what good is a PIP if it can't use multiple sources?

This would be nice to input in my Xbox thru component

From what I read in the specs, no...

The P/P (PIP, PBP) feature supports viewing of two content sources simultaneously, where PC Input is the primary source and any of the AV Inputs is the secondary source.

You can switch the source using the quick button on the front of the monitor (like a built-in KVM switch) or view two sources at once PiP style, assuming the sources are as I described in my previous post.

Not sure how I'll connect the Mac's DVI and the PC's VGA. I do have two pc's on is my server the other my Gaming machine both use VGA. Could I use the switch and connect it to the VGA in of the monitor and plug the Mac's DVI to the DVI in ?
