on the costco website it lists a dell 3 year advance exchange service for the dell 2405

does anyone know what that means exactly?

also ive read about all these people who have had problems with dell's monitors and rma'd for a new monitor.

how exactly do u go about getting an rma for a new monitor?

do u have to pay to ship it back to dell???

how often can you rma?

is there a time limit on when you can rma a monitor?
like what if i bought the monitor and 2 months later i noticed a problem and wanted to rma?

advance exchange service is where if you need to send in your monitor for an RMA, they will ship you a replacement first. They usually require to you give them a credit card number so that if you don't send in your broken monitor, they will charge you for the replacement (they give you plenty of time to send it in usually though).

You can RMA your monitor anytime if it's broken. As long as it's covered underwarranty.
Just call the support line and they should walk you through the process. I'm not sure on the shipping issue.

Typically with advance exchange services you would send the broken monitor back in the box the new one came in with pre paid shipping labels already inside.
IE, Dell would pay the shipping.

At any rate if you buy it from costco you wouldn't even need to do that. You would just return the monitor to Costco and get another one they have instock.
