Definitely do this upgrade for only$30

$30 buys you PC2700 RAM instead of PC2100, P4 2.2 400FSB vs P4 2.4 533FSB

How are dell rebates? I still having trouble getting my $100 Rebate for the 120G WD Harddrive a while ago.

Does Dell cancel orders when it was a mistake in advertising? I almost jumped in at FW with the 1100 Inspiron for less than $500 but was afraid that I wouldn't get my rebates.

I've had orders cancelled by dell before.

The way I understand it, the $150 rebate only qualifies for the barebones-crappy configuration, with no modifications. Which sucks, because I was going to choose some upgrades to get it over $1000, use the $100 off coupon and then the rebate to get an excellent deal. <sigh>...
