Dell 2007 WFP

How can I tell if one of the 2007 WFP's is the S-IPS version or not? I found a used one for $200, but I'm not sure which model it is. Help!

As far as I know, you have to view it in person/photos at angles. If there's no colour shifting, turns purple at extreme angles then IPS. Otherwise if you move an inch left/right and dark areas turn brighter (& vice versa), it's PVA. Right now, I think the new A04 revisions are mainly IPS due to complaints🙂.

Enter the service menu. I forget how to do this, but it's on Wiki I believe.

At the top of the screen it lists the panel code.

If it says, "LM201W01" OR "RT803" then it is an S-IPS panel.

If it says anything else, it's a PVA.
