Dell 2005FPW - No Bios Screen on Boot Up

Using DVI input, with the cable supplied with the monitor.
It installed fine, no install really needed, however.
Boots fine into windows, looks fantastic! No dead pixels. No backlight problems. 🙂

I am running this off of an ATI 8500 128 All In Wonder.
Ran all my other crt monitors fine, and always saw the boot screen, lol.
Monitor is even at default 1680x1050 - 60 hz.

Any ideas? Anyone else with this monitor having same problem?

"Say it ain't so, Joe".

What does it show when booting?

Some systems show a 'welcome to using our wonderful product' screen instead of showing the POST or memory count.
If you want to get into the BIOS, then when you see that screen, hit delete/F2/F10/pause, or whatever

It could be that your vid card only detects and switches to the DVI output after going through POST. 😱
