Dell 2005FPW + DVD PIP = Orgasmic

Holy God.

I can't believe how I ever lived without this monitor. I went from a decent 17" flat CRT to this 21" widescreen (same height as a 17", but 1680 pix wide instead of 1024)

I am currently working on a database on the left of the monitor, sized at 1024 pix wide, have jEdit in the upper right, at 656 pix wide, (enough for 80 char's wide which is my normal edit mode) and watching a DVD in the lower right with picture in picture fed from my DVD player. (medium size is just less than 656 wide. so it fits perfectly)

This is awesome! I have enough room to play with a database in the same size as a 17", and have room for my text editor and watch Titan AE at the same time!

I won't say it was the best money I ever spent, but damn, this is way up there. Now I have to convince my boss I need one at work. This would improve my productivity a ton!

Tell me about it. Going from the 2005 at home to the dinky 15" 1024x768 LCD I have work is pure agony.

Unless that's a 2405 the best it can do is 720P.

1080P is where it's at these days.

I miss the 120 pixels on each side more.
