My boss has a Dell 2005FPW (widescreen, digital), and two 7800 GTX's in SLI. He installed the drivers off the disk way back, and everything worked fine. Yesterday I did some work on the computer, and I updated the driver to the latest from nVidia.
With the new driver, the monitor only displays 1600x900 as the max resolution, with 1280x1024, 800x600, etc. as other options. When trying to add a custom resolution of 1680x1050, it says it cannot be supported.
I tried updating the monitor driver with a download from Dell's site, but it's still being displayed as driver 1.0.0.0.
Any idea how I can get the latest driver to support the native resolution of 1680x1050?
Thanks.
