I was wondering when i was going to see more widescreen lcds coming out. I dont think ill ever be able to go back after getting my notebook 🙁

I bought 3 of these with the 25% off coupon beginning of Jan.
I ended up returning all of them (after getting 2 replacements) because non of them were 100% defect free.
Best one I got had 2 sub-pixels that were stuck on (one red and one blue).
Backlight on them were ok.

I think I'm gonna wait for a bit for quality issues to get better.
Maybe the rumoured 24" widescreen will be better or Samsung will come out with one that's 16ms or less.
Too bad I can't find a B&M store that sells the HP 2335 or I'd pick that up for the component inputs.

I believe BenQ has a model that has similar specs. Only it's a bit pricier.
Haven't found anything that can touch Dell's price point (though playing the lotto on bad pixels is something I'd rather not deal with anymore after going 0/5).

Same story here. I purchased (2) and returned them both. I not sure why these particular monitors were prone to problems but enough people had complaints that I would stay away from them. Perhaps because they were built in Mexico??

Now, I have owned other Dell LCD monitors that have been perfect. Also, the wide angle viewing aspect takes some getting use to. If I had to do it over, I would go for the 2001 for sure.
