We bought two of them for people here at work (I wish I was one of them 🙁 ). But when we rotate the display the screen doesnt switch to portrait mode. Is there a hot key combination I need to press? The newest monitor drivers were installed. Or is the 90 degree rotation graphics card independent? Please help.

Thanks

With either drivers from ATI or nVidia you'll need to set up the built in pivot features. The monitor won't detect and change automatically. I think with each set of drivers this option should be under "Rotation." From there you can set screen positions to hotkeys.

Thanks a lot. This was an Intel "built-in" video card in a HP system. I had to disable the "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" in the monitor tab and now the 90 degree turns were available in the Intel drivers tab. Before, in the Intel properties, the option only had the enable 180 degree turns (90 degrees were greyed out). Thanks for all your help though.
