Do we know the response time on this? I am most likely looking right at it but my simple caveman mind doesn't grasp details like this.

*Edit* Also my greedy side is getting the best of me--are there any coupons that can offer additional savings available?

I just bought it last week with coupons with 799 as the retail price. Is it possible to get it discounted to this price with phone calls?

Just ordered one myself 🙂 I'm in CA so I got taxed (total came out to ~$575), but It's still a pretty good deal.
 
And then add 3% FatCash to bring it down to $511.95.
 
I found a $35 off $350 coupon relatively easily. Are there newer/better LCD's out there? Seems as if the 2001FP has been around forever and a day.
 
There's the 2001FPW. It's the widescreen version of the 2001FP. It's has better contrast ratio and new buttons, and no need for power brick. And it's widescreen. But it doesn't have as big of a discount as the 2001FP. It was CHEAPER than the 2001FP a couple of days ago, but not anymore.

Yea. I'm just excited about my 2001FP. $526 woohoo.. OH WOW!! The people with amex coupons could get it down to the low $400 mark.. 😱
 
FYI California now collects an $8 environmental "cleanup" fee on 20" LCDs.

Dell started charging it 2005-01-01. Out-the-door cost is $578.21 with this extra fee.

(578.21-526.75)/526.75 = 9.8% tax... Buying stuff in CA is like puking through a soda straw.
