No dice on that. Factory reset, along with everything else I've tried, does no good. Dell's sending out a replacement, and for one brief, shining moment I'll have dual 2000FPs.

Admittedly, one will be flawed, but I can dream, can't I? :)

Hey guys,

I've been having problems with my 2000FP for a while now, and Dell's support numbers aren't exactly helpful. I'm getting a single pixel-wide yellow vertical line running straight down the center of the monitor. It doesn't always exist - sometimes, it goes away for a while, but it invariably comes back. It shows up during self test, bios, safe mode, you name it.

I'm pretty sure it's a flaw in the LCD itself, but wanted to check with the experts and see what y'all had to say about it. It's a damn shame, because this is easily the most attractive monitor I've ever had.

i had a blue line in mine it goes away after a few hours of use

and it will come back if i unplug the monitor but not if i turn it off so it doesnt bother me enough to exchange it

do you have the monitor hooked up to a powerstrip that you switch off? if so that will probably keep it coming back
