Dell 2000 FP Problem - DVI

I'm having this trouble. I'm sure it's the DVI on the montior but I'm not sure if anyone else had the problem ?

I use 2 2000 FP so one is analog and the other is DVI. The DVI on second monitor died. No signal, etc. DVI - Analog adapter will work on the second monitor. DVI just doesn't receive anything. I try unplugging for over night, etc nothing.

At first I thought it was my video card but when I swap my 2nd as my primary (Analog) and my primary as secondary (DVI) it worked again.

I try swapping the monitors back again and nothing. This is the second time, my 2 2000 FP at work still doesn't have 2nd DVI, I had to switch the monitor and this happen to my home setup, which really sux. I'm going to call dell tomorrow but was just wondering if this is only me or happen to other users ?

hi' i also have this lcd for 2weeks now, i am wondering if your contrast setting usable? mine is greyed out' and im gonna have mine replaced today by dell' i think its defective' but are they all greyed out? i can set the brightness but not the contrast and mine came with no dead pixels but im afraid if they replace it i might get one with dead pixels..

all my dvi doesn't let you adjust contrast.

I just found out off dell's forums, All 2000FP suffers from blown out second DVI, and you get a new one.

If you hook ur monitor up to analog, it'll let you adjust contrast
