Dell 1905fp problems

this just happened recently and i dunno if it was like this already or something caused it but it seems to be darker, like my black isnt full black and my white isnt true white. any ideas?

adjust the contrast, brightness controls.

Or reset the monitor to factory defaults.

thats what im thinking...actually i played cs source..and changed my brightness level in that and it helped
