If you mean the 1905fp, not really. The E193FP does not have a DVI input and lacks the swivel base and USB ports. I believe the 1905 uses an 8-bit lcd as well, where the 193FP uses a 6-bit.

That said, I have used both of these monitors, and with an analog connection, the picture is pretty comparable. It all depends on what you need. It certainly isn't a BAD monitor.

If you have a DVI video output, you probably want to find a monitor that will support it. It's worth the extra IMHO.

don't miss out on dvi.. you'll kick yourself in a few months. and 16ms.. boo go for 12

What's the question, is it a good monitor or is it a good price? Sorry to crap, but this thread is a little vague.

I wouldn't buy it for that. I've picked up 2 1905fp's for less than that. The first one was 245 shipped, and the 2nd was 219 with $19 overnight shipping.
