Dell 19" LCD's

I just got my 1905 in yesterday. It's great. I notice slight ghosting in Half-Life 2 though. If you're an avid gamer, I would look elsewhere.

Without a doubt, the 1905FP. It's a 16.7 mil color, 8-bit panel. The E193FP is a 6-bit panel, with inferior color quality. I don't think it has DVI either.

1905FP is a great choice if you get in on a good deal. I play just a little bit of games and don't notice any ghosting myself, although no FPS.

You can really see the ghosting on the 1905FP if you run the Direct X 3D tests (it makes the corners of the spinning cube look blurry), but for all around use it is a really nice monitor. Full screen video looks a lot more pixellated on it than it does on a 2005FPW (which I think it might be coming from the 1905FP internally trying to scale a 4:3 image to a 5:4 aspect ratio), but windowed video looks fine. For normal office use, it is a great monitor - especially if you have it hooked up via DVI. It is worth the extra $50 just for the DVI and the nicer stand that allows for height adjustment and 90 rotation (which is sometimes useful).

just got my 1905fp and played cs:s.

ghosting is NOT an issue. very exagerated by others. you will notice a difference when compared with a CRT but not "unplayable" as some people say.

BTW. 0 dead pixel and the screen is gorgeous.

Same here. I play NFSU2, HL2, Doom (ugh) 3, Lego Star wars (very fun game!), CS, pretty much every new game and the ghosting does not bug me at all. I think the ghosting everyone complains about on this monitor is grossly exaggerated. While it doesn't compare with my 20" Sony trinitron monitor, it is a great LCD by any means. Plus, I didnt want it to replace my Sony, just add to it.
