Dell 1800FP Refresh Rate Question

Ive been running my 1800FP @ 1280x1024/75Hz on my card with analog output. I just got a new card with DVI output so I switched over to the digital, and I can only run it at 60Hz. I definitely can see the difference and its more fatiguing on my eyes. Anyone care to comment?

I was under the impression that LCD's don't have refresh rates (in the same way that a CRT does). You should never see any flicker. As far as I know, 60Hz is normal for DVI on an LCD.

Correct. It should be 60 Hz regardless of your connection type (analog/DVI).

Amen! If you can really see any difference, its not due to the refresh rate. I haven't seen many LCDs that have a *preferrred* refresh rate higher than 60Hz.

-SUO, 2 x 1800FP @ 60Hz DVI ... well, three 1800FPs if you count my wife's display 🙂
