I don't get the Dell catalog, however I would really like to get in on this deal... I have it in my cart and everything. Does anyone have an extra coupon code for the $50 off 400 that they could PM me? I would really appreciate it!

I gave up worrying about response time and getting it under $400
and bought the samsung 955df crt from dell for $196 that the moderator recommended
it is great and has no ghosting or streaking and has 17.75" viewable diagonal. It looks great at 1280x 1024 and with the $200 I save I could get a bigger desk....
it has a 3 year warranty and by then lcds should be perfected and under $200 for a 19"

LOL I'd think this HAD to be trolling for flames, but only one post! I've never seen someone violate so many conventions per word. What efficiency! ;) I'm willing to bet that he does not have his PMs turned on anyway (too lazy to check).

OK here's MY question now ;)

I have a Feb 03 catalog but could not find the coupon in it. I think there must be two different versions (CRAP!). So I'm about to go ahead and buy it for $369 but I want to check on the DPA thing. Applying for too many lines of credit is BAD for your credit, so I don't want to do it unless I know I can save this $25. So my question is this - at what point will I KNOW that that I saved the $25? I went to the screen that explains the DPA thing, and it says it gives an instant rebate on some systems, but nothing about peripherals. Anyone used it for this deal that can help?

Thanks

choose to pay with ur own cc, then close to the top it will have an advertisement for $25 off if you use thier DPA acct.

Is this monitor a good 17" lcd? What about all this talk about the refresh time (in ms)??

I'm looking at getting a 17" lcd (or 18" cost permitting) but have really no clue as to which ones are good. I assume most or all samsung are good, and have heard that dell sells rebadges samsung?

Also, is it possible to get a dual interface (DVi and standard) lcd for this or around this price? What price range can I expect for a 17" lcd? And, just for refrence, what is the best 17" lcd out there and what is its cost (linkys would be helpful too with tech specs).

Thanks everyone!

The $50 off coupon is in the dell catalog and is a one time use only. If it has been used then can't use it again. I got the monitor for $329. and just noticed today there was another one. Since I can't use the $50 coupon again then I will have to settle with the $329.

Nope, didnt happen for me. Oh well ;) $25 or my credit score.... $25 won't kill me but my good credit might save me 1% on buying a house ;)

I actually got 2 of these LCD's and for some reason, DPA savings wasn't offered anymore on the 2nd purchase. Ah well, $321 is still a great price... just droolin thinkin about a dual 17" LCD Setup. Also, so far as that coupon went, I actually paid someone $10 for their $50 off coupon... so it was really a $40 off coupon. yeah i know people who sell coupons they get for free suck but hey, for $40 off I'll do it.
