Have you guys noticed Microsoft Word's Envelope and Label has an option of enabling postal barcode? It's the barcode thing on top of the delivery address.

Post office use the last four digit of the zip code to pinpoint delivery address to a few blocks radius without even looking at address and barcode is supposed to do the same thing. They offer different rate for using barcode on mass-mailing basis, but is there any advantage of printing barcode on one-by-one basis letters or is it a waste of my printer ink?
