Question Delid vs. Relid?

Thinking about delidding or relidding my 9950X now that I have this custom loop and heat transfer is holding me back. Anyone have experience with trying both of these? I know that best performance is delid but I like the reliability of relidding. But this is all guesswork because I've never done either.

If you have never done it personally, I would simply purchase a CPU that has had it done for you (and will have a warranty):

9950X is a soldered CPU and can get messy if u don't do it right or haven't done it at all.
I dont know if the improvements will be worth it. Letting PPO handle voltages and speed via temp is not a good thing anymore on any motherboard especially on an ASRock, if you ever change to one.
