All of them voted for Trump? Really?

Authoritarian organisations like the police and the military tend to be right-wing-leaning by their very nature, but I can't imagine that all veterans took Trump's insults aimed directly at them and carried on sucking his toes.

Umm, I don't know how you got the idea that I insinuated "all" veterans voted for Trump. It is not in the post you quoted. Of course I don't think "all" veterans voted for Trump. That's nonsense. I personally know 3 vets who didn't vote for him.

There is really nothing "difficult to understand" from the post I made.

If you took exception to:

I don’t understand why they’re upset. They’re just getting what they voted for… good and hard.

I said that in response to what was said in the article I posted:

Veterans working for Atlanta’s Veterans Administration (VA) Health Care System in Georgia say they were "betrayed" by the Trump administration and former Georgia Congressman Doug Collins — who last week was confirmed as President Donald Trump’s veterans affairs secretary — after “nationwide layoffs at the Veterans Administration [impacted] Atlanta’s VA Health Care System,”

Now ... feeling "betrayed" by the Trump administration might insinuate they voted for him, hence the first quote above^ . Of course I don't KNOW if they voted for him, but feeling "betrayed" by him .... kinda gives the idea they may have pulled the wrong lever at the voting booth.

I did pivot to Farmers mostly in that post you took offence to. after all this is a "schadenfreude" thread. I said "virtually all" and "many" when mentioning US farmers fealty to Trump and most likely voting for him in mass. Obviously they are feeling the leopards slowly tearing their faces apart , especially in Wisconsin where GOP reps are not even showing up to face their concerns

Yet another state that overwhelmingly voted for Trump already feeling the negative impacts of that decision.

Now, do I think that "all" these workers at the US Forest Services voted for Trump ... Of course not! BUT, this IS Idaho, so I will go with "many" to "most" more than likely voted for him, if I had to guess. Ok with you?

The good people of Idaho should be happy to see Donald Trump fulfilling his campaign promise of eliminating the "deep state" at the US Forest Service. Soon he will do so at Veterans Affairs and those who help the agricultural interests and the well being of Idaho to deal with issues like wildfires, response/calling in fires, keeping trails open, communicated with trail users and backpackers for hazards and emergencies, water management and contamination, forest management, pests and diseases, cleaning of bathrooms etc. etc.

Idaho Republicans, previously vocal in their support of President Donald Trump before and after the election, appear largely silent on his sweeping mass firings across their state.

Shocking!!

With their majorities, they can finally see the fruits of their conservative dreams. I hope they enjoy getting what they wanted.

Many republican politicians are genuinely excited that Trump is (illegally) doing cuts they could never pass through Congress. Mostly because they assume they can avoid political blowback. So far this gambit does not appear to be working out as their town halls fill past capacity with pissed off voters.

Yep. You can't advocate for the things that are happening and then play DocSavage "Who, me?" games when your constituents come a-knockin'.

"If I get enough likes then maybe Trump will like me again"

In SRN (Stupid Republican News), a great opportunity to make money will soon be available in Utah. Just open up a dental practice or academy as soon as the fluoride is gone from their water.

Getting people to accept fluoridation is like pulling teeth.
Hope you like paying for fluoride treatments for your kids teeth then. Dumb pioneer mentality at work here in Washington. I don't know if it's the law, but there's no fluoridation here.

He argued that neither party fully aligns with farmers' interests, pointing out that while Democrats push for electronic ID tags for cattle, Republicans generally oppose farm subsidies.
What's the issue with tagging cattle? Surely being able to tell where it came from is a good thing if something crops up?

"Mandrake, do you realize that in addition to fluoridating water, why, there are studies underway to fluoridate salt, flour, fruit juices, soup, sugar, milk... ice cream. Ice cream, Mandrake, children's ice cream."

And here I thought Dr Strangelove was supposed to be an absurd parody.
