A couple weeks go I reformated my HD. When I set XP Pro in its directory I accidently named it C:\
but it was suppose to write over C\. I have a small HD and it's taking up a lot of space. Every time I log in it gives me the choose to log into [WINXP PRO OR WINXP PRO] it's getting quite annoying. If pictures would help I can make some :D!

I was told to fdisk it with a win98 boot disk. I tried it didn't work or I could have missed seeing the Partition.

If you want to wipe the whole partition and install clean-slate, here's a way to do it:

1)Boot up w/ your WinXP install CD.
2)Choose the regular Installation
3)When it asks you for the partition, you should be able to delete the available ones with 'L' - the command is shown at the bottom of the screen.
4)You can then recreate the partition in different sizes, FAT32 or NTFS.

Right click "My computer", select (?) - I am not very sure -
advanced - StartUp and Recovery" and then you can edit the delay to start and default partition
There is also a buton to directly edit your boot.ini file. You cand delete in here lines that are not needed
