Algebra is easy, you just need to remember a few simple rules.
For instance, a term with a negative exponent is just equivalent to the reciprocal of that term with that quantity of positive exponent.
2^-2 = (1/(2^2)) = 1/4. Of course that works the other way around too. One just has to be careful when dealing so as to not
divide by zero.
