You need to set a divider for the RAM then, but I'm not too confident about your PSU as well... Hope it can handle it...

What you basically need to do is set your RAM to 166MHz in your BIOS, and then up your processor's speed... By the time your memory has reached 200MHz again, your "FSB" will be at 240MHz, equaling (11x240) 2.64GHz... Easy :)

EDIT: Oh yeah, leave the memory voltage at stock (except if you want to tighten the timings afterwards), the chipset voltage as well (stock should still do fine at that HTT), but you might need to up the voltage of your CPU a bit of course...

No prob... ;)

1) Make sure everything's at stock speeds...

2) Go into the BIOS, to Advanced Settings I guess (it could be in the Cell Menu as well), and set your RAM speed to 166MHz (from the default 200MHz)...

3) Go into the Cell Menu, and start upping your "processor frequency"... Do this 10MHz a time... After having upped it, save your settings, reboot, go into Windows, and let Prime95 run... If it appears to be stable (let's say after a minute of 5, because normally it'll fail right away), then you can proceed... If not, up your voltage (Cell Menu) a tiny bit (that should be +3.3%, no?) and check again...

Do this until you have reached 240MHz... With that HTT, your processor will run at 2.64GHz... Check your RAM speed, and it should say 200MHz... Load Windows and let Prime95 run for a long period (12+ hours is advised) to ensure it's completely stable... BTW, open CoreCell and keep an eye on the temps as well...

EDIT: Let Prime95 run with Large FFT's, this creates the most heat...

No, the "adjust CPU frequency" is the one that you'll have to raise to 240MHz... The memory speed can be adjusted in the Advanced Chipset (or so) menu, and that speed (there are some options, like 200MHz, 166MHz, 133MHz...) needs to be set to 166MHz... I answered your PM...

If your memory isn't too cooperative, I'm afraid this is all there's left... It's in fact not difficult at all you know... You just eliminate the RAM as limiting factor, and focus completely on the processor...

well i can get to 2.64 but when i run Prime95, it fails. then it underclocks back to 2200(for some reason)

Just a thought... do you have Cool 'n Quiet disabled in the BIOS? Cool 'n Quiet normally underclocks an idle system to save power. If enabled, it may underclock your overclock when the CPU is not stressed.

If not that, not sure what to tell you...
