Not yet. After I get all new parts for this system, what I have now will become one
(Except for the RAM, ill be keeping that in this machine and buying anther 512MB for the HTPC)
The 120GB HD will stay for the HTPC and then all recorded videos will be stored via network drive on my new machine

An old computer doubles as my htpc. p4 2.4 ghz, 512 mb ram, fx5200 w/ passive cooling, and an old 160 gb hard drive and an 80 gb hard drive. Runs cool and quiet and fits my needs...

My main rig does HTPC duty

3200+ A64
6600gt
X-Mystique
2x512mb pc3200 corsair value select
2x120gig WD, 2x80gig WD
NEC 3520 DVD burner
Running XP Pro

Video handled by an NEC FE950+ monitor and the Infocus 4805 projector

Audio from the X-Mystique runs to a Pioneer 1014
5.0 goes to a set of Onix Rockets
80hz crossover starts the SVS 20-39 PC+ going
50hz low pass filter on the split LFE signal gets the Aura Bass shakers going

Have 3 of them, but only one is getting used as one.

Pentium-D 830 water cooled
Leadtek 6600GT
2x512mb PQI turbo PC4000 DDR
Asrock 775Dual 880pro

Pentium 4 ES 3.2ghz
Gigabtye 8IP775
4x256mb Kingmax PC3500
ATI AIW 9600pro

And just put my old ATI TV wonder VE in my Pentium-M SFF system
Pentium-M Dothan 1.6 @2.133ghz
2x512mb corsair value
ATI X700
ATI TVwonder VE
80bg WD SATA
onboard sound

Okay, stupid question. I'm building a HTPC for my supervisor. He wants two tuner cards. Will onboard video suffice, or does he need to get a decent video card. Money isn't much of a concern, but he doesn't want to get unnecessary stuff. I'm trying to figure this out by looking at peoples' specs, but everyone seems to have dual-duty machines... And I'm not a computer newb, just HTPC newb. I deal more in the server realm.

I'm in the early stages of getting one squared away.

Aspire Q Pack mATX
MSI K8MM-V
Sempron 64 3100
Zalman CNPS7000B.
512 Corsais VR <could use a gig>
nVidia 6200
Happauge PVR 250
OB Sound
WD 200g ATA
NEC 3550A DVD-RW
Win-XP Pro

Finding the right PVR software has been my issue.

Your question about VideoCard:
Having a good video card matter when you think about if you want to process some of the data with your Video Card (faster en/decodeing if you have the right software and hardware), better Output, faster performance if you play games on your HTPC. But it all comes down to what your customer wants his HTPC to do?
