I have an ASUS P4P800 Deluxe motherboard. I noticed my OS drive was running very slowly. I checked the Device Manager and noticed that it was running in PIO mode. I read that if I uninstalled the IDE controllers, Windows would redetect them and run at Ultra DMA mode. I uninstalled them and rebooted, only to see this: IDE Error

I checked the Device Manager again and this is what I see: Device Manager

I downloaded the Intel Ultra ATA Storage Driver and tried installing that, but it gives me this message: Not Compatible

It seems that Windows is not detecting my chipset. I know for a fact that my board uses an Intel 865PE chipset so I have no idea what is going on.
