Give the poor girl some breathing room. You just went out on a couple of dates which doesn't mean that you two have an exclusive relationship.

hmm... good advice.

I think I'm going to avoid her for awhile.

the thing is.. I think she's fairly "old-fashioned"... so.. I dunno

why would you have to avoid her if this is for a friend at work?

can you say "caught in a web of lies?"

how now be easy

Web. Of. Lies.

20 and holding hands is too fast for her? Pathetic. She's either garbage or your friend is and she doesn't like the smell.

Last time I was on a date and she said we're going too fast for her I said "Baby, don't worry. I have a Valentine One."

I feel stupid for saying, but I don't understand and can you explain what I'm not getting?

uncomfortable = she doesn't like you as more than a friend

That, or she's not telling him that he's not getting anywhere until they are married.

Based on this story, I have a feeling armatron picks up girls by taking a pocket full of lollipops to the playground...

She only wants to be friends with you - if that. Move along. Any girl would love to hold hands with a guy they're interested in.

first date: friday: went out to eat. went well.
saturday: lunch, then movie. Held hands during the movie (initiated by me) and went and watched tv at her place and helds hands while watching tv.

Afterwards (last night at after class..) I could tell she was kind of uncomfortable... and I asked her about it.. she said we might have gone a little further than she was ready for (WTF?)

so.. should I wait a week.. I know she has today off.. I was thinking about asking her to lunch..

HAHAHAHA I don't know why I found that so funny...

I guess it just seems like if she feel's "uncomfterble" holding hands after 2 dates, a week isn't going to do much w/this girl... she's probably a prude.

(advice for friend at work.) they're both 20 btw

roll your eight sided dice on this one

1-2 = ask her out again soon
3-6 = never call her again
7-8 = send her flowers

Holding hands is too fast for the second date? By my calculations, he should be able to reach 2nd base sometime around 30, Third base sometime around 45, and home plate sometime when they are in their 60s.
