You know, that's a pretty childish attitude. It smacks of "I'm taking my toys and going home".

I am capable of posting periods and initializing capitalization. If it makes it any harder to read a post because of capitalization then you should practice reading I guess? I understand how poor punctuation can cause strain on reading a post. I'm not looking for a flamewar, trust me. I will admit I usually don't capitalize everything mainly because of laziness. I am not looking for a excuse for the times I spell a word wrong, I just don't see the reason why people can't understand that others english/typing/grammer(whatever you wanna call it) skills might not be up to par with the rest.

Capitalization is the difference between "Helping your uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse".

then dont read it, plain and simple. i try to spell words the best way i can if uncertain how to spell it. but people act like its not ok to make a mistake, hell you learn from your mistakes. ive learned how to spell words the right way after posting it the wrong way.

like i said, most people act like kids about spelling errors. im guessing most people assume if you cant spell everything correctly, then your a dumbass? how cute

the problem is the guy wants LEGITIMATE RESPONSES to his question. he cannot even take the time to propelty phrase the question.

if i can't even find the question, how on earth can we answer it? i read the post he linked up - i can read it, however, it's like listening to someone ramble on about absolutely nothing, like that guy on king of the hill that just rambles and rambles without much of a point.

What's the big deal with punctuation. As long as people can understand what he wrote I think he's fine. By the way, some of you aren't better writers either.:|:(

That's the point, no-one can.
You could if you actually *wanted* to answer the question for the topic.
Punctuating to a some extent your paragraphs is a good thing. If you want to understand other people's question then the best way is to *kindly* let them know + help them improve their writing., A considerate person would never stampede/harass/nagg anyone just because he(nagger) IS a BETTER writer than the colleague is. Atrocious punctuaution/capitalizaiton doesn't give anyone the right to nag the person. After all aren't we civilized poeple, or are we?????:(:disgust:

but if the OP actually wants legit responses, he should cater his writing toward the people he wants responding to his posts.

Seriously, doesn't it scare anyone else that he can type more quickly without punctuation? I sure as heck can't. I would have to turn on "no punctuation mode" in my brain to do it. It scares me that this is not the case with him. This must mean that it is quite an effort to type a paper for school or write a business-like email at work. Yep, scary.

I played WoW with someone who was 14 and he was easier to understand. He did use OMG and WTF a lot, and was rather impatient, but still made more sense by far.

I can type way faster by just taking into account what it is i want to say, and saying it. Without worrying about shifting over to hit the 'Shift' key to capitalize words at the beginning of sentences. The structure does not matter to me if i wanted to understand it i could. After reading the feedback from you people ive realized that all of you are capable of understanding me b/c you've responded with whatever you felt about my writing. So hey, if you don't understand me why'd you respond. You've all been.. how should I put this... oh.. how about the way a 13 year old obnoxious WoW player that those of you believe me to be just like... '0wn3d!'

The End.

:cookie: 's to the ppl that ive quoted and those of you I may of forgot that responded with positive re-enforcement.

Thanks.

They didn't necessarily understand you at all. They saw a bunch of gibberish in the OP, then some people responded in a way that would indicate the gibberish was an attempt at something that made some modicum of sense and referred to the ability of people to read gibberish and a request to stop complaining about gibberish.

For example, I could post something in german or some language you don't know at all. A lot of people would then have no idea what it means. But some people might. By reading their replies, you can often figure out what the OP said.
