but if you want others to read and post legitimate replies, you need to post something legible.

I'm not a spelling or grammer nazi by any means, but the majority of people cannot read long, run-on paragraphs in a small font on a computer screen.
 
how do people write like this does it actually make sense in their heads or are they as scatter brained as it seems when i read this drivel why not just use decent grammar i dont think proper grammar is necessary but the basics would be useful in trying to read and comprehend what the poster is looking for i mean how are we going to help if we ca'tn understand what you are trying to convey its a pain in the ass for those of us that dont just post to increase our postcounts but also try to help the basics arent hard in fact its harder for me to type like this than it is for me to type as i normally do which isnt perfect but not bad either atleast people can understand wtf im trying to say most of the time sometimes its a little difficult because im drunk or really tired or just plain confused but generally people get the point which is hard to do when your reading tripe like this god this stuff sucks i wonder if woo-woo is a 3 year olds way of saying vagina so seriously some basic grammar usage is for everyones best interest i also think that if you get used to typing like this it will only hurt you when you do have to write something professionally or for school haav a grate dai!

The problem is, some people write as they speak, in many ways, it is like reading preliterate writing (read old myths, and early biblical passages -- stories that were composed as spoken verse, and only written down millenia later). As a result, it is hard for someone who is used to reading proper prose (fiction and non) to understand. In fact, it tends to make me a bit nauseous.

In short, Meractik people complain about your lack of paragraphs and punctuation because it is genuinely hard to read that way. It's not that we're trying to me mean or a bunch of hardasses, but it is genuinely an unpleasant experience reading the things you write down. Sorry.

It is made all the worse because you may well have something important to say, but there is no way that it's worth suffering your writing to get to it.
 
Oh, and please don't take it too personally, or as an insult to your intelligence. There are a lot of people out there who write incomprehensibly, so I'm not just speaking to you. It seems to be a pandemic problem with our society today (and who knows, maybe our schoolsare at fault), but many bright people don't appear that way due to a lack of clarity in ther writing.
