Just traded for a 80gb classic and the other guy never mentioned it was a mac version and I am windows.


I called the local apple store and he was clueless and was on hold for what seemed like an hour with apple before giving up .


HELP !!!!!!!!!!

Load up iTunes.
Plug in ipod.
Click on the iPod icon in iTunes.
Click the Restore button.

Umm...Mac version? The 80gb classic model should be both Mac and Windows compatible.
